In January this year, NIVA Denmark signed a long-term framework agreement with the Department of Biology at the University of Copenhagen. The purpose of the framework agreement is to further develop the existing collaboration both at project level and as part of a long-term strategy in relation to teaching, applied research and research-based authority service.
The parties must actively work for the development of joint applications and offers while thesis and bachelor projects are carried out with anchorage at KU-BIO and co-supervision from NIVA Denmark. The most important areas of cooperation will therefore be teaching students, further training of biologists and monitoring of the aquatic environment.
Office manager Tor-Petter Johnsen (tpj@niva.no) is the contact person in NIVA Denmark.
