On Wednesday and Thursday, 11–12 June, the first International Symposium on Synthesis Research in Aquatic Ecosystems was held in Copenhagen. The symposium was organized and hosted by AquaSYNC with financial support from the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA).
The symposium took place in the historic setting of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters, where researchers from Denmark and abroad gathered to focus on synthesis research in both marine and freshwater ecosystems. The programme, which can be seen below, featured a range of exciting presentations and inspiring discussions that helped strengthen networks and collaboration across borders.
AquaSYNC would like to thank all participants for two rewarding and engaging days and hopes that guests also had the opportunity to enjoy their stay in Copenhagen.
