Dear colleagues, associates, and friends,
NIVA Denmark would like to thank you for a remarkable year filled with exciting projects and progress
We reflect on a year that has strengthened NIVA Denmark, primarily in terms of expertise but also as a provider of research-based advice, where we continually strive to focus on the state of the aquatic environment and the human activities that either lead to an undesirable condition or can be managed as the impacts are reduced. We can also note that in 2023, we have been productive and have published the results of our research in scientific journals. A particular highlight of which we are especially proud is an article in Nature, to which Senior Researcher Jes J. Rasmussen contributed. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Looking back at 2023, we also see that in September, we bid farewell to researcher Emilie Kallenbach, who has been an essential part of NIVA Denmark since our establishment in 2014. On the other hand, we happily welcomed Scientific Assistant Paula Ramon in August and Senior Researcher Andy Stock in October. We look forward to working with both for many years to come.
As we eagerly anticipate the upcoming year, undoubtedly bringing new insights and colleagues, we, at the close of this year, wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
NIVA Denmark
