NIVA Denmark’s report “Monitoring of open Danish marine waters with FerryBox systems” was published in July. This report is the result of a NIVA-led project with Aarhus Unviversity, financed by the Danish EPA. The aim of the project was to investigate how FerryBox measurements can be used in monitoring of the Danish marine environment. This month, NIVA Danmark has added to the number of employees in the office. Paula Ocampo has been hired as a research assistant. Paula has previously been a part of the office through an internship from RUC, where she studies environmental biology. Besides Paula, Simon Andresen Özkan has been hired as a student assistant. Simon studies Environmental Technology at DTU. We welcome the two newcomers to NIVA Denmark.
